This post is part of a series of interviews with current students on the International Workshop. Natalia Toro is from Colombia and will embark on her second year of the Training program in September.

Tell us a little bit of yourself:
My name is Natalia and I’m Colombian. I studied architecture in France and then I came back to Colombia where I taught at the university. I had the chance to participate in some social projects and I loved to work with the community. Since I was 15 years old I’ve always painted and after a while in my city I decided I wanted to experiment some projects with art.
Which classes/activities are you interested in and how is the relationship your tutor?
I love life drawing,  and am interested in all theones we have the opportunity to know people involved in the art universe of Barcelona. I like that the relationship with my tutor is very chilled, you feel like you are talking to a friend which makes the tutorials more interesting.
What is the thing you like most about Metàfora?
What I like the most about Metàfora is that you can meet people from a lot of different countries so you can get to know a lot of cultures. On the other hand it is a place made to experience different tools and projects with people that is really there to help you on searching your way.
Where would you go today in Barcelona, and what would you do there?
I will go to Sitges, a city south of Barcelona on the seaside. Is cool to have the option of going out from the big city for the day just by taking the train.
